So interesting Aubrey! Thanks for sharing this. Never thought about donating hair

I’m going to look at all my friends now to see whether our hair is changing. But my cohort is really about going gray - or not

Believe me, I've been thinking about that a lot too! I asked my stylist about gray-blending. She talked me out of it, but I feel closer every day!

I haven’t embraced it yet but my daughters who are 40 and 45 both are just going naturally gray. So I have let some come out:)

Aubrey, THANK YOU. In my late 30s I cut my fairly straight/slightly wavy hair very short in order to grow it out w my natural color--and lo! I've had ringlet curls ever since! My doctor can't tell me why! Anyway I've had to suddenly--midway through life--had to learn to navigate having curls, and tbh I haven't learned much. You've inspired me to seek out guidance and real haircut inspiration. As always, love your work 🤍

Great piece. I, too, have always been torn (and occasionally still am) about whether to keep my hair short, long, and for how long. Also because my hair also suffers "bushiness" every time I wash it or it gets wet. Thank you for sharing this Aubrey.

Why stop? And I too am confused by the lack of change in people’s hair styles. I’m hoping it’s all

Out of self love but I’m not convinced.
